Mohad Abbass, Esq.
Mohad Abbass is a partner at Arias & Abbass law firm, focusing his practice on property insurance claims related to coverage and bad faith litigation, as well as complex criminal defense cases. Prior to joining Arias & Abbass, Mr. Abbass gained significant litigation and trial experience as an Assistant Public Defender at the Law Offices of the Public Defender for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit of Florida, successfully representing and protecting the rights of individuals accused of various criminal offenses. After leaving the Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Abbass worked at a statewide well-known defense firm specializing in insurance claims litigation and thereafter moved his practice to representing people dealing with property insurance claims against insurance companies.
Mr. Abbass was born in Queens, New York, and was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Cleveland State University. After graduating from Cleveland State, Mr. Abbass earned his Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida. During law school, Mr. Abbass was the President of the Criminal Law Association, Vice President of the Black Law Student Association, Vice President of the Animal Defense Association, and Vice President of the Trial Team.
